The flower petals stuck in your hair, the nervous pacing before the ceremony doors open, the all knowing glances to your siblings during speeches. All the little moments that make up one incredible day.
It’s important you remember it.
They’re the one item that should stand the test of time, that will be thumbed over for generations until they’re eventually ripped around the edges and faded from so many hands looking them over.
From me to you —
This is the one day that all your favorite people are together. During dinner you get to look out across the room and realize there may never be another time all these people are at the same place at the same time.
I want to learn about your love story so you walk away with photos that show your real smiles and the way you hold each other is just how you do at home and not forced for the camera.
I don’t want to just be another vendor. Someone to show up on the day and take your photos then wave goodbye and send you a quick email with the gallery. I want to learn about your relationships so when I catch your dad crying during the ceremony I know it’s a big deal and I know I need to capture it.
It’s worth it to find the right person to capture you. To help you remember all those little moments.
*Couples sessions include help with planning location, outfits, ect.
My chance to learn more about you. To learn how you make jokes with one another, what you’re like with your families, who is more competitive. Then on your wedding day, capturing you and your love is a breeze.

“Allison is fantastic, and words can't even begin to scratch the surface of articulating her talent, but I will try!! I got married in March 2021, after the pandemic foiled 2 prior attempts at a celebration. I looked for months until I came across Allison, and knew immediately from her photos that she was the person I wanted capturing our day. From our first conversation, she was kind, professional, and easy to talk to. Each time our wedding plans were dashed, Allison adjusted her schedule for us, never charging us extra for circumstances beyond our control. We trusted her completely; in turn, she honored and rewarded our trust throughout every interaction. Allison is creative at every step. I didn't want engagement photos, so Allison shot our rehearsal dinner instead (best decision ever!). On the day of the wedding, somehow Allison was everywhere at all the right times, always capturing the perfect photo, yet never interrupting the flow of the day. She is a master of candid photography: finding the in-between moments, the side conversations, the subtle glances, and the love between family and friends that truly defined our day. She even found a way to make posed photos look perfectly natural. Allison was the perfect person for the job, and we will cherish her photos of our day forever. Allison is the best. My advice would be to book her ASAP and figure out the rest of your plans later “

“Summing up Allison's talent in one small review is so hard because she is THAT good. Allison shot our engagement photos in August 2019 and was scheduled for our March 2020 wedding, but COVID had other plans for us. She was so flexible as we postponed our wedding multiple times and eventually traveled to Seattle to capture our Mount Rainier elopement. Allison's calm and personable demeanor easily melded with our family and she truly became more than just a photographer, but a friend. Allison's photos are beyond stunning. She captured the candid emotions of our elopement, the most beautiful and sentimental details, and SO many incredible portraits. To say we're obsessed is an understatement. Looking back at Allison's photos immediately transports us back to our favorite day so we can relive every moment. We can't wait to have Allison shoot our wedding reception later this year. 12/10 recommend”

“I knew from the moment I saw Allison’s work that I wanted her to photograph our wedding, and she exceeded every expectation I had! My husband and I do not consider ourselves to be photogenic- Allison made us feel so comfortable and captured the perfect mix of natural and staged photos of our day. On top of being incredibly talented, she is so kind and easy to work with. We’re incredibly grateful to have had the chance to meet her and highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!”

“We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our experience working with Allison. We engaged in working with Allison in late 2018 when we got engaged and were originally planning on getting married in 2019. However, the pandemic threw a wrench in things but Allison was along for the ride and so responsive with every twist and turn I threw at her. Day of the wedding, she was amazing! She captured all the little details, all the special and hidden moments and even had some fun with us on the fly in some really creative ways. As someone who produces ads and campaigns it was really fun to be the subject and made me feel more at ease. When the gallery was finally sent, I cried looking back on what she captured. I got to relive the whole day again! Upon sharing with my family everyone was blown away with what she captured. Regardless of her talent, which must already be apparent to you having gotten this far — Allison is a really special human and truly cares about her brides/grooms. I would recommend her a thousand times over!”
– Yes I am! I only take on a few travel bookings a year so I’d love to chat more about your plans and how I’d fit into them. I do have travel fees for anything outside of the Bay Area but I love getting to explore new places with clients.
— No two weddings or shoots are the same, so I understand that not everyone’s plans will align with what’s described in my packages. Custom rates are always available. Just reach out and let me know what your plans are so I can draft something up for you.
— First I love to set up a facetime or phone call to hear more about your plans and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have. Once you're feeling ready to book I send over my contract along with an invoice for a 20% deposit. Once that's paid and the contract is signed you're officially on my calendar and we get to start planning!
– I always edit with a light hand. I don’t alter the colors drastically or add or remove anything too extreme. It’s important to me that your photos don’t end up looking too trendy and will still be timeless throughout the years.
– When shooting people I always, always aim to have as relaxed of an approach as possible. I am not the type of photographer to fix every loose strand on your dress or make sure every hair is in place before snapping the photo. Candid and natural photos are my go to. A photo of you running up to and hugging your family members you haven’t seen in years will always be more valuable to me than a posed photo of you smiling with them.
– Absolutely. I hate getting my photo taken and my husband hates it even more than I do so I know that feeling all too well. I’m never going to leave you to just pose yourselves. While I definitely make sure I get those classically posed portraits a good majority of my photos have a much more relaxed feel to them. So I’ll give you little activities to do so you’re focused on that rather than the camera— and it helps bring out your true personalities.
